Brides staying at the Garden City Hotel the night of...

did you book their 'wedding night' package? or did you just book a regular room? i was thinking of booking the anniversary package...do you think that would be okay considering it's not for my anniversary?

im thinking about booking with them. imo i think the wedding package is a complete waste. to get a regular room for a night its $250 but if you get the wedding package its $500. all you get is breakfast, champagne and strawberrys. I can go without that to save $250. so I might just book a regular room

You can get your own champagne and strawberry for that cost!

I am just booking a regular room. I didnt think $500 was worth it. The room we are getting for $250 is really nice.

do you think they will have a problem with this? i mean, booking a regular room and then showing up in a limo and a big white dress.

Why would they? There is no dress code.

Re: Brides staying at the Garden City Hotel the night of...

We booked the honeymoon package or whatever it's called. I totally agree that it's a waste of money, but we were guaranteed a really early check-in by doing it so it was worth it for us. My FH is going to have to bring our overnight bags to the hotel pretty early in the morning, and we wanted to make sure everything was ready when he got there to check in....

I've stayed there before on numerous occasions. Their VERY accomodating, just pricey. If you eat there, the food is terrific. I WOULD be staying there the night of, but it's booked on our date
