DESPERATE - Husband needs Best Man speech...any suggestions?
Depending on how open of a person your hubby is, just tell him to write a letter to his best man, this way everything will come from the heart, whether it be mentioning funny times, or saying something that will make them reminisce, or anything sentimental, this is how the speech will come out the most effective. My sis did this for my wedding and for my brothers wedding (and then again us women are just more EMOTIONAL, and the whole plays was BOO-HOO ing...). If your hubby is more of a person of little words, he can make it short and sweet, however he feels comfortable. It really is something that has to come from the person that will say it. I could NEVER write a speech that my husband would say. He and the groom had that bond, friendship, those stories, and only he can write that one-of-kind speech! Of course, he can also speak from his heart that night, without writing anything down beforehand...knowing the way guys are, i would suggest he write some stuff down :)
Good luck !

DESPERATE - kind of long : )
I did the same thing with the rhyme scheme when I gave my maid of honor toast. There are tons of websites that have examples of rhyming phases. Just have him do a search on google or something.
The other cute thing I've seen done is you tell the bride to put her hand out and the groom put his on top of hers and then do it again with the other hand, and then have the bride tell the groom she loves him and then the grooom tells the bride, then the speaker says something to the effect of grooms name remember this moment because this is the last time that you will have the upper hand or the last word. It was a big hit!
Hope this helps....Good luck!
