NWR: Communion Gifts....HELP

We're going to a 2nd cousin's communion in a few weeks followed by a house party. What is the going rate for communions these days?

Thanks.

Re: NWR: Communion Gifts....HELP

i would say $50-$100 also... and i would definitely do a savings bond instead of cash or a check..... i had a TON of savings bonds that i got for stuff like that when i was little... and they grow in value, and when i graduated college, i was able to use them to make a big chunk payment on my student loans..... who knows what i would have done with it if it was cash when i was little! LOL

Re: NWR: Communion Gifts....HELP

I am going to a cousins communion next month, very helpful recommendation for savings bond. That's what i had done for my nephews baptism. I feel little kids are better off not having cash now and have money later when they have better uses for it (college).
