Dress Anxiety

Does anyone else not like their dress?
I bought my dress last Oct, and i ended up going for something i never imagined. it has a drop waist and is poofy on the bottom... but i always wanted a mermaid cut with lace... ugggghhhhh!
this is one of the few things i am really stressing over... sometimes i cant sleep thinking about it :(

Re: Dress Anxiety

well being I don't know when you are getting married, I'm not sure if you have enough time to get a dress, but it should be your dream dress. I fell in love with mine, but then looked at the priscillas of boston website and found tons with alecon lace (wore my mom's veil so it had to have it). But once I saw the pricetags, I realized I made a good decision. I was pretty happy

Re: Dress Anxiety

If you chose it, it was for a reason. STOP LOOKING at other dresses, that will just make you keep second guessing yourself.

Re: Dress Anxiety

Has it come in yet? With time you tend to forget what you loved about it. You chose it for a reason...relax and stop looking at other dresses!!

I have a dress fitting tomorrow and my fear is that i will see it and be like 'its ok'. I think its natural bc we put SO much into a dress. If you did get the mermaid youd be saying now 'maybe i should have gone for something more poofy'. We are never happy.
do you have a pic?

Re: Dress Anxiety

I seriosly think that every bride rethinks her dress at some point. For me, I was PMS'ing and my poor Mom and MOH got the brunt of it. I wanted every other dress but mine. The next day we visited my dress and I fell in love again. Blame it on bridal brain.

For your sanity go visit it .I think that it is a gorgeous dress
