Spinoff....NEED HELP RE: SALON Middle Island/Rocky Pt.

After getting a rude, snippy comment from a salon I thought I was going to use for my wedding day (just me), telling me they can't fit me in b/c of their 'regular customers' until later on that am., I am put off & need options.

I also really want to schedule a trial next week so any/all help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, if you know of a hair person that would come to you (for only you)

Cindy, is there a salon you regularly get your hair cut at? I hope its not the place you called! I wish I knew of some places, but I am totally unfamiliar with that area.

Yes, but I live in Lindenhurst, my salon is in Garden City. I'll be staying at my parents the night before & need to get ready by them

My parents are out at Exit 66 in Middle Island

You can use M i a, she does not have a minimum for your BP. She can do brides only. She can do hair AND make-up.

Are you parent also in Garden City?

My MOH is getting ready at MGM studio. It's on Old country road in Westbury. The make up woman is pregnant but she not due until after 'my' wedding. She has used them for hair on her wedding last year. It was really pretty.

I like Hollywood Spa & Salon in Miller Place. I haven't gotten an updo done there, but I have my hair cut there and have also gotten my hair blown-out and styled there for an event. It's a decent-sized place, so I would hope they could schedule you.

I'm actually looking into a hair dresser in the Mt. Sinai/miller place/rocky point area. My co-worker gave me the business card of her hair dresser in miller place that does her hair and her girls at their proms and told me they are reasonable.

April Rain in Miller Place is good as well. I get my nails done there and my sister's have used their hair dressers.

I get my hair done at Hair Port in Port Jefferson on Main Street. I may be using them for my wedding.

I am in Port Jefferson and I am using Christine. She lives in Port Jeff Station and will come to you and I don't believe she has a minimum. She is the recommended vendor from Giorgios. FM me if you want info. Good luck! As for a regular salon I HIGHLY recommend Celestial Hair Gallery in Smithtown. Vinny for color!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE him!
