how far in advance are you getting your favors?
I'm a year and a half out, but I think I know what I want to get. Is it okay to do it now, or is it crazy to have them sitting around for over a year? Should I wait until I have a clearer idea of exactly how many people are coming?thanks ladies!

Re: how far in advance are you getting your favors?
It depends. If you are getting a good deal/discount on them then I would get them now. Also, getting them a little earlier is one more thing to check off your list and less to deal with later on..

Re: how far in advance are you getting your favors?
My wedding is almost 11 months away and I already have my favors. They were on sale and I had to buy them! lol If you know what you want I say go for it why not. I ordered the quantity of my minimum (I HIGHLY doubt I'll have anymore than that) and if I happen to I'll just buy a few extras...XOXOXO

Re: how far in advance are you getting your favors?
We've had our favors for quite awhile now and I'm getting married this September. Keep in mind my mom is crazy and wanted to get it done as soon as possible so we didn't have to worry about them as the wedding got closer.I think you only need a few months.

We're getting ours in the next few weeks but we're doing wine favors. If you are sure on what you want and have the space for them, I suppose it couldn't hurt to have one more thing out of the way

Re: how far in advance are you getting your favors?
I am a little over a year away and I ordered mine. It was a really great sale. I ordered a little extra just in case my # of guests changed. If you know what you want then go for it. One less thing to do latter down the road.

Re: how far in advance are you getting your favors?
I've officially bought all the materials for my favors (which I'm making)... it's just a matter of actually MAKING them.My favors are beach themed Christmas ornaments, so I was thinking of hosting a 'Christmas in July' party with my close friends as an excuse for them to help me make them!
. I'll probably wrap them, though, in September or so since I don't want the wrapped favors to accumulate dust.

Re: how far in advance are you getting your favors?
Our wedding is 13 months away and I've had my favors for about 2 months already. The thing is I found a fabulous deal and couldn't pass it up. If you know what you want, I say go for it! But if you're still even a little unsure, my advice is to wait.

Re: how far in advance are you getting your favors?
Probably 1-2 months before so I know how many to order. I had completely different ideas for favors a year ago, so I'm glad I waited.

Re: how far in advance are you getting your favors?
I got engaged in November and bought the favors right after Christmas because I got ornaments and there was a good deal on them. I'm not getting married until November. If you're gonna get a good deal, I say go for it!

Re: how far in advance are you getting your favors?
The best thing I did during this entire planning process was buy things as they came to mind....I didn't really wait to do anything - and now, 18 days before my wedding, I have completely on-track and there is barely anything to do (except final payments). My advice is to get as much out of the way as soon as possible.

Re: how far in advance are you getting your favors?
i ordered in March for my June wedding and the lady at the store told me to give her the final count needed about a month beforehand. she said they will be ready about 2 weeks before the wedding.i wouldn't get the favors so far in advance, what if you see something that you like better in the next year or so...
