Rehearsal dinners average price
I am sure that this has been asked before, but I couldn't find it...can you ladies tell me what the average price per person was for your rehearsal dinners please. We were given a quote $40(this includes tax and tip) per person and we wanted to see if that was a lot or average. The place is in Babylon Village and would include a 4 course meal no alcohol included. Guests would have a choice for each course of three different options. As always thanks for the help, and I thought this was very cute..FH said 'ask the girls!' haha

Re: Rehearsal dinners average price
Mine is 40pp PLUS tax and gratuity. Originally, it didn't include alcohol, but I got them to throw that in. (I'm having my RD at my restaurant hotel, which is VERY yummy!
.)

Re: Rehearsal dinners average price
that sounds about right - as much as it ***** to pay that much! I told FH we could have ours at the restaurant he wants (Oak Room at Bethpage Black since he golfs EVERY day) and that's $40 without the drinks - anyone have any ideas how to get them to either include drinks or lower the price for alcohol at all? Is it possible to bring your own wine?? This rehearsal dinner is stressing me out more than the wedding itself!

we're having a buffet, in the dining area in the back of a local pizzeria. It's $19.95 pp, running tab on alcohol.

Re: Rehearsal dinners average price
We are paying about 40 per person. It dosent include alcohol, but we are going to keep a tab at the bar so that out guests don't have to pay. The dinner includes a choice of 6 meals. I think that the place quoted you about average.

Hey Karen,
No clue if you are into this idea, but Kyle and I are having the RD at Jani's in RVC. And they have a bunch of options. I think there is one for like, $13.95 and another for $16.95 per person, not including liquor. We decided Chinese would be fun and totally different than the wedding food the next day, which is nice too. Just thought I'd pass it along.

Re: Rehearsal dinners average price
mine is $24 (plus tax and grat) a person for food only. it is family style and it includes: bread and foccacia, veggies and potatoes, 2 salads, 1 chicken dish, 1 fish dish, 1 pasta dish and sorbet and biscotti for dessert.we are bringing our own wine with a corkage of 10 or 15 per bottle (i forget). sodas and coffee are included. we are getting the wine for pretty cheap and FMIL wanted australian wine, so FILs are bringing over wine on their trip over here. wine is pretty inexpensive there, especially for some nice wine.
i am having it at nick diangelos.

Re: Rehearsal dinners average price
I know ours was around $25 per person with tax and tip. It didn't include alcohol, but the food was awesome! FMIL added wine carafes and pitchers of beer, which wasn't much.

Re: Rehearsal dinners average price
I think it's hard because RD's are usually on weekend nights. If you have a rehearsal dinner during the week, you might be able to work with some restaurants since they might not usually be as booked during the week as they are on weekends. Mine is on a Saturday night, so it's hard to negotiate with restaurants when they're going to get business that night from regular patrons anyway.Welcome New Vendors
