How did you ask your bridesmaid to be in your wedding party?

Hi guys- I am trying to think of a creative way to ask my bridesmaids to be in the wedding party? I like to be different so the simple, 'Will you be in my party isn't for me?' I also think it would take the awkwardness of asking them away.

I was thinking of a scrapbook page and then frame it? Does anyone have other idea's that could help me out?

I just asked i'm only having 3 bms and 1 moh, and these girls have known me all their lives so they knew that it would be them.

I would let them know one by one Or if all your brides maids are friends with each other you could just have a girls night out and let them know all at once ...

I made them each a card that had a saying in it i found online and i got all these crafts from a.c. moore and delivered each girl the card...as she read it at the bottom it said will you be my bridesmaid or MOH i took a pic of there reaction..it was fun

I asked them, but then also made them each a card thanking them for going to take part in our special day.

I wasn't very creative to be honest. My best friend is my MOH so she was the first person (after family) that I called when I got engaged. I attempted to stay calm when I called her and said 'I need you to do me a favor' she said 'sure, what's up' then I said 'I need you to be my MOH at my wedding' at which time we both began to scream like little girls on the phone!

As for bridesmaids, I just asked, 'hey, you wanna be my BM?'

NOT CREATIVE AT ALL!!!

I totally didn't ask them.. I kinda told them they were in it and left it at that!!!!

Well my sister was a given...she knew she was gonna be my BM. Same with my best friend Erica and my friend Kerry. Now.....my FSIL didnt really ask her but shes in it.........
(dont get me started on that)
Now for my last BM.........she came with me to a DJ bc my FH wasnt home and she went through this all already. So we get to the DJ place and the woman was like oh thats a good Idea you brought your MOH...........Im like Uh, No. Then shes like oh well people bring the BM's too. Im like nah shes just a friend of mine.
LOL so in the car on the way home I turned to my friend and was like Okay well the woman at the DJ place ruined it for me....would you like to be a BM.

I wasn't creative at all- I was so excited to ask!! I couldn't hide it. I just asked them all. Matt proposed when we were away so when I called to tell them the good news, I asked.

I just asked!! LOL I was not creative at all about it. I didn't even ask my sister to be my MOH at first because she knew she was and we were talking for so long over the phone (she goes away to school) in a bride/MOH fashion, that when she came home, I totally forgot to 'officialy' ask her until she said something to me! LOL I felt so bad I wanted to at least make asking her a little more special/creative!

But anyway, I like the card idea! You can make really cute cards! A lot of the girls here made beautiful cards!

My cousin asked us all at her eparty my having cards (plain cardstock) that said our names on the front at out seat at the party. When you open the card, inside on the card is said 'will you be my...' and then she made us all pins that said Birdesmaid, MOH, Jr BM, etc. and we all wore the pins all night. It was really cute!

I didn't get too creative though I did try and make each girl feel special.

MOH-My best friend lives in NC so I hinted to her over the phone and then sent her a gift basket of her favorite snacks with a card asking her to be my MOH. She loved it but wanted to kill be bc she was on a diet ...oops

BM's-I took 3 of them individualy to dinner and asked them over dinner and drinks.

last BM I took for a day at the spa and asked her during our pedicures.

My FSIL asked if she could be a BM the day FH and I got engaged so of course I said yes so no need for any fan fare there!! I love her so I didn't care if she asked to be in it. I would have asked her anyway, she actually did me a favor and saved me some $$$
