NWR: Repost wisdom teeth

how long do they take to come in?

my top teeth seem to be taking forever to come out, and my bottom ones are impacted, but there wasn't an infection so my dentist said as long as theyre not infected to leave them the way they are, but i'm sore.

I had the same problem. Get them removed, it will be much better!

Get them removed!!! All 4 grew in straight for me and I got so many different opinions about taking them out. I really had room but they wound up shifting other teeth and getting infected from time to time and they are so far back that they were my only teeth with cavities. I have been dealing with this for about 10 years and finally last week I took all 4 out!! Best decision I ever made!!! You will not miss them and you don't need them, they only cause more headaches!!

Re: NWR: Repost wisdom teeth

It all depends on the person. Mine were still coming in late in my 20's.

I think the extractions are only covered by insurance if an impaction or infection is present. So if he confirms the impaction, you should probably do it.

Is the pain just soreness from them moving or is it really bad that you can't stand it? If you're going to do it, do it way before the wedding so you don't have to worry about it on top of everything else.

Re: NWR: Repost wisdom teeth

they hurt from time to time, I'll feel sore and then I'm fine, but I'm more concerned with the bottom impacted ones pushing my teeth.

Re: NWR: Repost wisdom teeth

takes time, everyone different, you'll go through phases where its bad & then your fine for a few months..
i had all 4 taken out, i went once for each side a few weeks apart... i didn't want my teeth to start shifting b/c there not perfect to begin w/ & didnt want them to get worse... the bottom ones were both impacted too, but the dentist didn't have a pob. taken them out & the top two were only in a little bit...
