Question for those getting married at the hall....

Are you guys throwing petals, blowing bubbles, or using ribbon wands, since there is no real exit like there is at the church??? If you are when are you going to do it??

My friends just got married at their hall a few weeks ago. As they were walking back up the aisle, the guests tossed flower petals at them. It was really nice.

I am getting married at the reception site. I am not sure if there will be anything thrown. I don't really have strong feelings about it either way. What kind of things are you considering? I'd love to hear some ideas.

I think we are doing bubbles. We arent allowed to throw petals. He wants to get a bubble machine but i dunno it may stain

i don't think my hall allows rose petals

so I can't do that! so upset!

awwwwwww.....I know how that feels! My church says I'm pretty much only allowed to use bubbles, which isn't bad, I just have my heart set on the petals. I really want that black and white picture with the flower petals only in color. I'm gonna BEG my priest to let us do it!

I was wondering the same thing?? I wasn't planning on doing a receiving line... so can I have the petal cones at the entrance as you walk into the ceremony so that way when we walk out as a married couple people can thow that petals then?
How can we make it clear that it is the appropriate time for our guests to throw the flowers??

I was thinking of doing Ribbon wands as we walk back down the isle but i don't know how it would work really????

We are definately doing rose petals. We also wanted to release butterflies as we had your first offical Mr. & Mrs. kiss, but i'm scared they will fly away before anyone sees them.

We're doing rose petals (probably in petal cones that will be handed out before the ceremony starts) and our guests will throw them as we walk back up the aisle.

I am getting married at the RH and want to do rose petals when were walking back down the aisle. I didnt even think that halls wouldnt allow it though until I saw some girls repsonses....what is the reasoning behind not allwoing it?

we are going to do bubbles....wilton makes the tiny little bubbles sold at michael's, they are so cute...

We are making our programs our of an invite kit and since it comes with the envelope we are making a combo cry pack, program with bubbles!!!
just thought i'd pass on the idea ....good luck
