RP: Can I see your 'first time seeing eachother' pics?!

Can you show me pics of your DH and you when you saw eachother for the FIRST time? We are taking pics before the ceremony.

Our first location to take pics is in Long beach on the beach/boardwalk. It will probably be crowded on a sat afternoon so how do we pull off the 'first seeing eachother' pics?? TIA!

This is a great idea for a thread because we are not doing pics before because I was afraid it wouldn't be 'special' enough. Maybe it will help brides who are undecided if they see that that first time you see each other can still be made really special!

We saw each other before the ceremony too.

That's me trying not to cry, as per orders of my photographer...which of course made me feel like bawling, lol.

ETA: I know this sequence of pics like I know my name and I'm missing 2 of DH - he was all smiles

I guess I didn't scan them in..

We got married at Westbury Manor so we took our pics there as well. Our photograhper of course knew that we hadn't seen each other yet so they made it special. Let your photographer know how important that moment is to you.

Our photographer kept DH away from me until that moment. Let me tell you...I stood there for maybe 30 seconds waiting for him and it felt like an hour. The anticipation was incredible. I can understand if you think it won't be as special as seeing each other for the first time during the ceremony but seriously - that's the furthest thing from the truth. The only way I can describe the feeling is that I felt the same way the moment I realized he was about to propose - nervous, excited, elated - all of that...I was staring at the ring and wondering if it really was mine...on our wedding day I was looking at him realizing he was about to be mine forever...

Sorry if that sounds so sappy but that truly is how that moment was for me. It's an amazing moment for every bride I think.

I wonder the same thing...if we see each other will I be as 'effected' when I walk down the aisle....I still have 2 months, but I am sure I will because everytime I envision it in my head, I start to sob. If the mental picture makes me mushy....Kleenex is going to be in business on July 9th!!!

I can show you the pics of my dad giving me away - I have the same stupid look on my face as I do in these pictures. It's not a look I can recreate on demand, only when the moment is right

It's your WEDDING DAY! You do a million things that you might have done before but on this day every one of those things is special. I mean think about it - is it the first time you see your wedding gown? NO. First time you ever got dressed up and went to a fancy party? NO. First time you dance with your DH? NO! But it's the first time you announce in front of all your friends and family and the world that you're a family. Everything about it is special.

my brother and his wife saw each other beforehand for pics at Westbury Manor. They have a GREAT picture of my brother covering his eyes with his hand and Kathleen standing in front of him. Then they have the shot of him taking his hand away and seeing his soon-to-be wife. OMG... I'm gonna cry! (we need a 'tears of joy' icon!)

You haven't seen these?

I've never actually posted ALL of my proofs.. I don't even have half of my color proofs scanned (2 years later and I'm still planning on doing that)! Also, in the beginning I tried not to post pics of DH's bald spot, that might be why you haven't seen them before.
