Are there any vendors or wedding supplies you wish you could change or would have changed?

I know that there are 2 vendors that I have booked that I wish I could change. Not that there's anything wrong with them, but I've seen better work or got better prices from other vendors after I booked.

I also wish I had chosen different invites. I went the inexpensive route. They're very pretty, but if I could do it over I would have gone with something different.

How about you girls? Past and present brides, anything you wish you could have done differently?

No! I was very happy with everybody!

Oh, wait, I'd change where I got the BM dresses. But since they're an online company based in Chicago, I don't think anybody has to worry.

I wish I booked my DJ earlier so that I could have had Joe E as MC. However, Fred was still good. I originally booked High Voltage, though cancelled for personal reasons (I do not regret cancelling).

My florist-I hated working with them!

I would have requested a different banquet manager. She's too business like, not friendly or interested in us at all. I guess as long as she gets the job done, I should be ok with it.

My DJ/Piano Player (Charles Henry) continues to surprise me every time I talk to him with his generosity and kindness. I could not have asked for better.

Our photographer (Lori Berkowitz) is also a knockout. My ceremony location has a ton of rules and regulations about photos so she's had to do a bit of legwork to be 'allowed' to photograph there. She's done all of it with a smile. She also has sent us a personalized Christmas card and Valentine's Day card since we booked her. She's really sweet.

We're happy with everything else so far but the real test is the 'day of'. We shall see!

Yes...I might have done several things differently...but mostly I'm happy with my choices...I just wish I had been better prepared to plan a wedding...I had no idea what was involved and even with the help of this site (and others) I feel like there are things I still just don't understand.

I should have shopped for a better price on my dress. I know that I loved the dress but could have found it cheaper somewhere else.
I would have gotten the BM dresses somewhere else- or at least had the girls go for alterations elsewhere, it has been a nightmare so far.

I'll let you know if there's anything else in a little over 3 weeks!!

Any ill feelings about *any* of my vendors, I made the appropriate changes right away. I can't feel uncomfortable with any of my vendors.

I wish I would have done something different for the place cards, I thought my hall provided them, to which they don't. If I would have known sooner, I would have done the jordan almond favors in the containers as place cards, instead of spending the money on the flower ones to put with their coasters. So now I've spent the money on that, and now need to find something else for place cards.

I also wish I didn't spend so much money on my dress.

So far, I think those are the only things.

I MAY have changed my location, I had a VERY hard time with them, but it was so beautiful that I might have still stayed and just not let myself get so aggravated by them.....

different DJ or I would have spent more $ and hired a band

i would have went with dh for the tuxes and got them at any other place othe than After Hours (WORST!)

i would have gone straight to bocu for my hair and makeup instead of wasting $ with other trials

would have ordered my bm dresses online

would have ordered MY dress from a fancier salon..i didnt feel burtons gave me any 'fuss' and i would have liked to try my dress on in a more glamorous environment ..and would have been willing to pay more for the dress just for personal attention...my mom agrees

i would have not purchased my tiara - i never wore it and i wasted my moms money on a haste purchase

i would have had a smaller bridal party- dh fault with his 9 guys- but i included a person who didnt need to be included- and gave me more stress than help

As of right now I am VERY happy with all my vendor's. I still have to pick a limo company, dresses, and hair and make-up, but I am happy with everything that has been done so far! FH & I are very lucky with that.

I had another florist originally booked, but changed them since then! I hastily booked them 9 days after our engagement, and then recently fell in love with Flower Michele. I'm SO happy I was able to change them before my wedding!!! (and that the first place gave our deposit back!!). I now have NO worries about my florist!
