We arent just b/c almost everyone we know is married/engaged/seriously dating someone and we know that they wont get up! FH wants to do it but it doesnt matter to me either way

we didn't do it. we didn't have that many single guys. instead of the bridal toss, we did the anniversary dance

We are definitely not doing it. I just don't like it. I've been to weddings where the girls were so drunk, they were falling on the floor to catch the bo-k.

I am not doing a bo-k or garter toss.. here's why:

First off, you throw the bo-k and the wh*re of the party picks it up and you are like 'Just Greaaaat'.. Then, You do the garter toss and I am not all about having my DH up my dress and making it not look PG in front of our friends and family and I am not having that either!! and then he tosses it and the 8 year old picks it up and has to put it on the wh*re of the party..

This is a BIG NO NO for me.. Plus, I already told my florist not to make a throw away bo-k.. so he's on my side as well!!!

Same here all of our friends are in their early 30's and are married/engaged and I am one of the youngest in my family. There wouldn't be anyone to toss it to! It seems like no one wants to get up anyway and it stops the flow of the party.

It is all in good fun. Anyone who sayd it's tacky or preverted needs to lighten up...IMHO
