Group wedding party gifts
Hi girls, does anyone have any ideas for the bridal shower, a nice group gift from the wedding party that is cute and fun and of course useful to the bride? Thanks!

One thing I saw recently at a shower that was nice was the BP got the bride a bunch of honeymoon related things. They were going to Hawaii so they got a beach bag, some towels, sunscreen, Hawaii for dummies, and a bunch of other related items.

Thats a geat idea. I know I don't have a honeymoon registry, but would love some of the tours as a gift!!

My sister's BM and I (MOH) bought them their bedroom furniture. ** Only catch is that there was 11 of us, so it wasn't a HUGE financial burden when split between so many girls!!

I've also heard of BMs buying a honeymoon excursion for the couple - for example a glass bottom boat tour, booze cruise, whale watching, etc ...
For one friend's shower we bought her all of her bathroom stuff from her registry and gave it to her in the hamper.
A friend of my suggested doing baskets for another wedding - like a Mexican margarita basket and a honeymoon basket (as someone else suggested). Make sure they have a good digital camera for the vacation - that's a really nice gift to chip in on.

All great ideas! Unfortunately, I got the honeymoon basket for my wedding and want something original for hers since we are sisters. And she told me she doesn't want luggage and she has a bbq...jeez this is hard! 
We will def get some excursions for her honeymoon, that they will love.

I was in the exact same BP as you!! Hi Col!
for my wedding my girls got me my pots & pans and lingere.
For my other friends wedding where a few of us weren't in the BP but were wives/GF's of the groomsmen, we got her luggage.

I am the MOH in my best friend's wedding and we are chipping in for cooking classes. She has wanted them for awhile now, and after her wedding she will have time for them :)
We are going to give her lingerie at the bachelorette party :)

We did this for my sister-in-law... and the best thing is that we wrapped the empty video camera box to give her, and unbeknownst to her, videotaped her entire shower with HER video camera! She was so surprised - and so happy!

Maybe a nice TV. My FBIL was talking about how he and his FI were looking at one, and I thought of you and how that might be a nice idea. The one they wanted was a few thousand, so depending on the size of the BP, it may be something to consider.
