best baby shower favor???

I'm throwing my FSIL a shower at the end of next month and i need some ideas!!! Is a baby shower favor a must nowadays?

What is the best baby shower favor you've ever received or seen? Please post pics if you have them or the websites. Thanks ladies!

i'm a person who would like to recieve edible gifts. i have enough clutter already that an additional would probably push me over.. that's dramatic but edible's good for me! or maybe a goodie bag filled with tons of cool and cute stuff?

but if you don't want to do edibles then please stay away from the typical frame, coasters, figurines wahtever. i, like some others i'm sure toss em out.

I recently went to a shower where the 'favor' was perfect...it was a donation to Madre (mother in spanish) www.Madre.com and we were told on cute little cards. You could make a donation to any organization, but one geared toward children or women would be best.

we had a baby shower for my boss and the favor was a newborn diaper put together inside the diaper was a candle and some candy it was sooo cute

I went to a shower and they wrapped up Cinamon buns and used a decorative sticker and ribbon to decorate it. The sticker said a poem about welcoming the 'bun in the oven'. It was SO cute and yummy!

i was just going to post the same topic! i keep looking online and it's all the same stuff you see at every baby shower ....i would love to do something different
