best baby shower favor???

I'm throwing my FSIL a shower at the end of next month and i need some ideas!!! Is a baby shower favor a must nowadays?

What is the best baby shower favor you've ever received or seen? Please post pics if you have them or the websites. Thanks ladies!

Well, I have a cute idea to do at the baby shower

It's more of an 'activity' maybe do it before your FSIL gets there...

buy a ton of onesies (I can help you wholesale with that

) and you buy wash safe/non-toxic fabric paint and get some cute sponges with baby related stuff and have all your girls decorate them. I'm sure they have all this at Michaels. Her sister also put up a make-shift clothesline so we could hang them up to dry and they also served as part of the decoration for the shower.

We did this at my friends baby shower and it was a lot of fun.

FH's grandpa just attended a christening for his nephew's baby over the weekend....the favor was a chocolate cross! of course, i am not suggesting crosses for a baby shower...but look around (after all, it's LI) and I bet you can find a bakery that would make chocolate shaped booties, bottles or something.

Well we all LOVE chocolate! I also went to one where they made a book mark with the babys best u/s pic on it and a little note 'from the baby' Thanking everyone for being such a good friend to his/her mommy.

I love the game where you have a timer that buzzes and the mommy is openeing gifts and when the timer goes off whoevers gift the mom is opening gets a little gift.

My favorite gift was a hamper and when I opened it there was a clothes line with all little outfits on it..
