I'M GOING TO BE AN AUNT!!! And some sad news

FH's SIL just called that she is expecting a baby!!!! She is one of my BMs, just celebrated her 25th b-day yesterday and they celebrate their 2 yr anniversary this Sunday!! She is due in early January.

She told me her BM dress may be a little snug! Love it!! I am SO excited! It wasn't planned, as she is in school for her masters and has a teaching job @ a day care, they wanted to plan it so she'd have the baby during the summer!!! God had a different plan!!


On a sad note my MOH who lives in VA who would have celebrated her 12 weeks the weekend before our wedding found out MOnday she miscarried Very sad for her. Hugs and Prayers please!!

That's very sad news about your MOH. My sis (Matron of Honor) miscarried several times before she had twins three months ago. It is a very difficult event to mourn. Your family will be in my thoughts. It used to make me so angry that kids can have babies and leave them in trash cans and my sis who is married and can provide a wonderful home for a child was struggling with infertility. In the end, they were successful - my niece and nephew will be christened this weekend - I'm their godmother. They were worth all their struggles to get here!

Congratulations Aunt MsKitty!!

I've never miscarried myself but my sister has, and a friend miscarried 4 times before having her daughter. The most important thing is ensuring she doesn't let guilt overcome her. My sister went through it, blaming herself for 'killing' her children, wondering what was so wrong with her. There is no easy way to broach such a sensitive subject and I'm sure with time she won't want to talk about it at all. But if you're there for her, to listen if she wants to talk, that can be the greatest thing.

Congrats and I'm sorry!!

I'm so happy for your BM, that's wonderful news!!!!!!! Congrats to her and her DH!!!!!

AWW, GOOD NEWS AND BAD BUT IT WILL BE OK.
I ALSO FOUND OUT ONE OF MY MOH IS EXPECTING, SHE IS ALSO DUE EARLY JANUARY AND SHE'S IN 3 WEDDINGS IN THE NEXT 4 MONTHS, INCLUDING MINE, I HOPE THE DRESSES FIT HER
