Brides who wore hair combs instead of tiaras

Im really torn on whether I want to wear a headband or a comb in my hair. I know that I want to wear my hair up but low on the back of my head. Do any girls have pics of hairstyles where the bride used a pretty comb on the side of the updo? Am I making sense?

i am not wearing a tiara nor a comb....I havent gotten my dress yet but i know i am getting a lace dress with the mantilla veil (lace edging on the veil) ...if you look in my album I had my hair trial done...I think I am going to wear it with a flower instead so the look is more angelic.....if i was wearing a more glamourous dress I would wear a comb or a tiara....

Me personally...I dont like Tiaras....I feel like a beauty queen with them...but the combs i think are a nice touch!!!

actually, I have your hair bookmarked.. I was also considering fresh flowers, but Im afraid they will wilt. Im so confused. I know that I dont want a tiara, but everyone is telling me I should wear something on the front of my head bc its my wedding day. I just think I look silly in tiaras.

I am not wearing a tiara. It's up to you. If you really don't want to wear one, don't...but I'm sure you will look beautiful either way!

I wore a hair pin-- It was on a 'stick' and went right into my bun..

I just went to a wedding and the bride wore her hair back in a low bun and had a comb on top of it (it looked like a large hair clip) it looked great.

I'm wearing a hair comb on one side and two orchid hair pins on the other. I don't have pics of them in my hair, but the actual items are in my Dress and Accessories album.

ooohh i LOVE those. would you mind if i asked where you purchased them? I saw one I liked at the bridal salon but they were smaller (you needed to wear more than one) and there were like $150+ each

I got mine from Nelson D'leon who did my hair and make-up for the wedding-- his place is located on 34th and 6th and I am sure you can just buy the pin from them-- I think it cost me like 60 or 70 bucks-- but that may have been a discounted price because of all the other money they took from me

I searched high and low for mine in deparment stores, accessory stores and I ended up buying it online from Nordstrom.com. It's by Carolina Amato and it was $80, I think. They have the pin in two sizes, large and small, mine is the large one.
