any 07 girls doing tea length bm dresses?

I am on the fence. Somedays, I want tea length and other days I want full length.
I am having a summer wedding so i guess i can get away with it.
Anyone else doing or considering tea lengths?

I think they are really pretty but personally I'm going with floor length dresses.

Re: any 07 girls doing tea length bm dresses?

I really want to ,but someone warned me that when my girls get them altered the hem line's will be different and it may look weird...and actually a BM of mine is in a wedding next weekend where this has become a problem...and the dresses almost look different, so I am on the fence too!

Re: any 07 girls doing tea length bm dresses?

I loved a few dresses that only came in tea length however i know a few of my bm are self concious about their legs...
so i figured id go for the unity of the dresses and making everyone feel their prettiest

I love tea length dresses! I would actually really like to do them for my bm's, but it will be end of November...i dont' want to make them freeze in short dresses..i'll leave that decision to them.

Yes and I just a heads up for anyone having girls from different locations...make sure they get measured by a seamstress (professional!) who knows the STYLE of the dress!!!!! My Friend's Bride didn't think that was important and ALL the dresses are HUGE on the girls, my friend who is her BM is a size 16 at MOST!! and they sent her a 26!!!!!! because the bride measured wrong! its costing her $250.00 to fix the dress for the wedding in two weeks, all of her fellow BM's are having the same problem with $200-$250 price range alterations...essentially the seamstress we went to told her she is making the dress over again! not just a message for tea length but for any BM dress! HTH

Re: any 07 girls doing tea length bm dresses?

I am doing tea length dress and they are all being altered and created by the same seamstress. My wedding is going to be outside in early September so I think tea length dresses are appropriate for the season (they'll catch a nice breeze ;) ), plus I think they will be able to get more use out of them after the wedding is over. I have seen so many tea length styles that are hot so I can't resist.

Re: any 07 girls doing tea length bm dresses?

i replied to this on BHB but i wanted to reply again because i love my BM's dress! anyway i love tea length..especially since i'm having my wedding in august and its going to be so humid and yucky..it would be cruel to make my girls wear long dresses during the summer..and here's a picture of the dress:

Re: any 07 girls doing tea length bm dresses?

I am considering tea-length dresses as well. I really want to do them and my wedding is at the end of June so I think they will go very nicely. I am just not sure because all my BMs are different heights.

Re: any 07 girls doing tea length bm dresses?

If I was having a day wedding, I would do tea length dresses.. and I really do want them anyway, but my girls insist on wearing long and that's fine with me
