NWR: I NEED A GOOD HAIR SALON IN HICKSVILLE, LEVITTOWN, PLAINVEW, BETHPAGE AREA.

I know, I know... it was asked before.

I need to trim my hair a bit not chopped off. I have 'some' layers. I just have to keep it long for the wedding.

Any recommendations for a GOOD hair dresser?

I usually go in the City but I am trying to find a local place.

ID salon is nice.....they are in Syosset (which is in between plainview and hicksville sort of)

i go to cactus salon in plainview on south oyster by road. ask for rich, he's awesome!!!!!

If you don't mind traveling to Bellmore I go to Kutting Kraze on Merrick Road....They are all wonderful there....Ask for Christine, or Holly. Both of them do wonderful jobs and are the sweetest women. Holly is doing my hair for the wedding and Christine is doing my color. I have a trial on Sat..YAY!!!

I second ID Salon, they've done my hair a few times and it always comes out really nice for both a haircut and color.

I go to Cactus in Syosset on Jericho Turnpike and use Kristin...she is great!

Fran at Salon D' Elite on in wantagh shes been my hairdresser for about 10 years or so and shes really good at listening to what you want

I go to Sheer Illusions in Bethpage, on Stewart Ave by the Train station...
I prefer Dara, but she's only there on Thrusdays and Fridays, Christine and Lori are also pretty good.
