When people give you money or checks..........................

At the wedding. I personally want to put it in a purse of some kind. What should I do. I've heard of some girls having money stolen at their weddings.

I have heard this too. I think I will be deciding on a point person to hold the money and checks in a seperate purse or bag. A family member you totally trust.

I used a bird cage that I decorated with ribbon that matched the BM dresses. We put it right behind the table that my husband and I sat at.....and DH's nosy grandmother didn't take her eyes off of it all night. She was guarding it like a hawk. I wouldn't worry about it being stolen, when I wasn't seated in front of the envelope 'cage', my bridal attendant was standing watch.

Money bags are nice but just a tip - we received so many envelopes of all sizes that a regular size money bag would never have been big enough. I've seen card boxes on here that are really nice too!

I've heard this too and I'm using a photo cube, so you can't get the envelopes out without noticing, not to mention, you won't be able to see them.
