We are, because our vendors were amazing. I think that it's a nice gesture for vendors who did a great job. If you had any that were dissapointing I think it's fine to 'forget' to thank them.

I sent thank you notes to most -- but not to the reception venue nor to the hotel (which was a terrible vendor).

I haven't done it yet...I focused on getting our guests out and really just let it drop. I want to and will probably do it soon (now that you reminded me).

That said, I'll only send to those who really went out of their way or that I had a personal connection. Not that they weren't all great, but I'm not really sure some would care.

I did the same. I just focused on writing thank yous for the guests -- now I am working on my album. After that, I will write the vendor thank yous.

we sent thank yous to all but one vendor. the one we weren't happy with got a lovely certified letter requesting a refund instead!

Definitely. I can see using many of them again for the future and/or referring them to others. They were all so wonderful, but our DJ and photographer were the real standouts.

It's also nice for them to show/share that with future clients.
