Song to dance w/ mom and dad...

MIke and I have a different situation since my dad will not attend my wedding and his mom is no longer with us. We want to do something special and dance with our parents - so, I will dance with Mike's dad and Mike will dance with my mom...now, I need a song that is not toooooo mushy but expresses that we appreciate our parents and are glad that Mike's dad is in my life and my mom in Mike's life...

I've been looking for songs and reading tons of lyrics. So far, the only one that comes close is 'There You'll Be' by Faith Hill...I was wondering if you ladies have any other suggestions!

I dont know if you want to use a polish song but when we danced with our parents, the DJ played 'Cudownych rodzicow mam' (but that might not work since his mom doesnt understand the words)...

His mom is no longer with us..she passed away a few years ago...his dad AND Mike wouldnt understand it...LOL...MIke is dancing with my mom and I am dancing with his dad...

What about 'Unforgettable' by Nat King Cole? That's what my Dad and I danced to. Not to mushy, not too specific to a father/daughter instead of father in law/daughter in law.

This is such a beautiful idea! What about 'Isn't she lovely' by Stevie Wonder, Kind & Generous by Natalie Merchant. Let me try and think of some others!

sorry I am kind of having a similar problem the songs... His Dad isn't around, but my mom wants a spcl dance with him... So we are trying to find a song the he can dance with my mom and I can dancewith his mom...

I understand what you are going through wth the songs...
