Mustang Harrys and Mustang Sallys (Irish-American-pub fare) are good (on 7th Avenue a couple of blocks south).

What kind of food are you looking for? On 8th Ave. btwn 32nd and 31st there is a Japanese place and a Thai place that are both really good. they are small but the prices are good and the food is yummy!
They just opened some kind of BBQ place on the corner of 32nd and 8th ave.
There is a diner (tick-tock diner) on the corner of 34th and 8th ave. There is a Friday's across the street from that.
There is this place called Niles that is really good but I can't rememeber exactly where it is.
If you like seafood there is a restaurant called Tupelo Grill on 33rd Street between 7th and 8th Ave. Its a little more pricey.
I work right above Penn station - I know a lot of places to eat in the area!
