PLEASE HELP!! IVORY DRESS AND FH TUX SHIRT!!

My FH wants to wear a light grey/silver colored vest. We already went to the tux place and now I think he got a white shirt.
WIll this look terrible considering my dress is ivory?

I am not nitpicky at all. Silver is his fave color and I want him to wear that - but wouldnt that look dumb with an ivory shirt?

If anyone has any pics where the grrom wore white shirt and you wore ivory or if he wore an ivory shirt with silver vest I would appreciate it!!

Please help!!
I still have time to change if necessary..but not much.

I just know that our tux place said to have the guys shirts match the dress because they could make eachother look dirty, and I think in this situation the dress would look dirty as ivory with his shirt being white.....but I've never seen ivory and white combo, so I don't quite know. I would check with the tux place asap and see what the order is!

i don't know but i am wondering about ivory dress white shirt also because i am also wearing an ivory dress

I think an ivory shirt would look fine with a silver vest. That's actually a real nice tux!
I think you do need an ivory shirt, but thats JMO. I also have an ivory dress

my dress is ivory and all the guys are wearing ivory shirts....and the groomsmen have a silver vest

I also have an ivory dress. The groom and all of the GM are wearing ivory shirts.

SILVER VESTS AND TIES GO WITH WHITE GOWNS, IT BRINGS THE GOWN COLOR OUT, THE BEST THING TO DO IS IVIRY TIE AND VEST

THE COLOR SCHEEM IS LIKE THIS

WHITE GOWN= SILVER VEST AND TIE , THIS BRIGHTENS THE WHITE AND DOES NOT LOOK AS GOOD AGAINST IVIRY GOWN

IVIRY GOWN= IVIRY VEST AND TIE

in reality, it likely won't make much of a difference. it's been done, white dress/ivory shirt and ivory dress/white shirt with no complaints afterwards. the silver vest might look a bit off with an ivory shirt though.

yeah...you might have to change your vest/ties...but i think the shirt should be white...people will kind of anticipate a whiter shirt...no matter what color your dress is.

FH is going to wear a silver vest. My dress is ivory.

After looking at an ivory shirt, we decided otherwise. Ivory does not look good with silver at all. FH will have a white shirt. Since the vest style is high, the white shirt will not be that visible.

One of my sisters had a ivory gown and her hubby wore a white shirt and it looked fine. I am having a ivory gown and I looked at ivory shirts for FH and thought the ivory was way off for him. I am having FH wear a white shirt and white vest.

im wearing an ivory dress and the girls champagne. my fh is weraing ivory short, vest, adn tie. gm are weraing ivory vest adn wheat/champagne vest, shirt, and tie.

so what happens if your dress is Light Ivory - what color shirt should he wear? my FH doesn't want me to go with him to the tux place and i'm not too trustful of what he'll end up getting
