DIY invitations and save the date cards~!

Hi,

I think I have been asking so many questions, thanks~! Well, I am planning on doing my own invites and save the date cards but dont know how to get started. Where should I go to buy the cards and paper and is there a program that you gals use to make these? I know I heard someplace that there is a $30 software that has everything you need in order to make your own. Is this worth it or can I just easily make them with microsoft word?

How did you guys make your own save the date cards and where did you go to buy the supplies? Is there a specific type of cardstock i should get for these cards? Thanks in advance.

I plan to do a photo save the date by using winkflash.com.

You can go to staples or Michaels craft store for 50 invitaitons its from 20-45.00
Great idea for originality but very time consuming

Has anyone taken a photocard and added a magnet to the back? My daughter and I are trying to figure out how to do this, or where to buy the magnets.

All the companies that make magnet STD's seem to offer them in a business card size, and she wanted something larger like they have on winkflash.
