You only tip the alter servers about $20/each. As for the rest of the singers, etc - they are paid through the church fee - at least that is how my Church does it. They classify everything out, so we know where each dollar is going.

I was told you only tip the altar servers, that the others are included in the church 'donation' you pay.

Good question Jen. I know my bro & his wife were supposed to have servers for their ceremony a few years ago, but then that morning they didn't show. Not sure that they would be necessary though?

My Church doesnt have alter servers unless we ask for them. I'm not tipping my singer..she is a family friend so i'm getting her a gift, and the organist has given me nothing put problems..she's $150, told me I need to pay her in cash so thats all she's getting
