*Updated* second fitting w/hair and makeup trial..frustrated..opinion please.

So here is the first fitting that was already posted:



The second fitting went fine, but I was not at all pleased with my hair/makeup trial.

Makeup and hair:



I got this trial at Maximus and I was there for almost five hours!! They were so rude to me and left me in a set for two hours, first taking me to get makeup, then changing their mind, then realizing they put the front rollers in wrong...and it didn't even hold in the end! I complained about the lack of attention from the staff and being passed off...they blamed my hair! Didn't even apologize. I do not recommend them at all.

Worst part, I spent $180 on the damn trial. And now I have to figure out what to do. I have a trial with Elena from Bridal Touch...if anyone has any info on her stuff, let me know. She apparently only does airbrush with Mac cosmetics, and does hair too. I'm sure a lot of places are going to be booked with less than a month to go...

So here is my second fitting.




And what should I do I didn't call maximus and know I should complain to the bridal coordinator. The girl that did my hair was just so uncaring and seemed bothered by the fact that the set failed and she had to curl my hair with a curling iron. I wish I hadn't spent so much, should have gotten a quote beforehand. Then again, my friend had recommended them so I thought it would have worked out.

Oh, and bridesmaids dresses...well the wrong style came in. Butt ugly. So now the dresses are not going to be in until two weeks before my wedding...I'm so bummed.

First off, your dress is stunning and it fits you beautifully :)

As for your hair, are you dead set on wearing your hair down and long? When I saw the first picture before I scrolled down my first thought was, 'wow, she has such pretty features, I bet she'll wear her hair half up half down'... I think it might accent your face more than this style.... or maybe it was just the problem with the curls setting....

Try calling Maria from Concours d'elegance.... she's doing my hair and was a sweetheart.... and she's a perfectionist...

I think your makeup is nice and soft... maybe a little darker would give it more punch, but in general I think it gives you a nice soft look

your dress looks beautiful. your hair and make-up does not look bad..but it doesn't do you any justice..You are a beautiful girl and it should look better....i think u should def. use someone else..i haven't heard too many great things about maximus, to be honest with you.

why don't you try one on the vendors on here that a lot of the girls used...there is Mia from Brid al lounge...she does amazing hair and make-up.

Your dress is beautiful. I am sorry to hear about your experience at Maximus. I definitely think you should have a trial with somoeone else. I agree with the poster above that a half up half down hair do with more hair pulled back would look great on you. I also recommend Maria from Concourse D'Elegance. She is great and wont let you leave until you are completely happy.
