What did/is everyone do/doing for their one year anniversary?

DH and I want to plan a special trip. Originally we were thinking of going back to our honeymoon spot (Hawaii) but now we're thinking of doing something different like maybe somewhere in Europe... Anyone go anyplace exciting they'd recommend?

that sounds fabulous! we stayed local but made a weekend of it. The night before our anniversary, we ate where we had our RD in Cold Spring Harbor. The night of our anniversary, we got takeout, ate it on our China, and DH bought me pearl earrings and sent me calla lilies, just like our CPs at the wedding!

We are going to Morimoto (we live in Philadelphia)-- it's the Japanese restaurant that's owned by the Iron Chef.... it's really expensive, and we've always wanted to go so we've been planning to go for our one yr.

We just got back from our one year anniversary trip to Costa RIca!! Was a blast...just put up picshere

We were going to go to Hawaii, but since I found out I'm pregnant, things have changed. We are going to The Sagamore in Lake George next weekend!!! (already)

Labor Day weekend we are attending a wedding in Seattle, so we'll probably eat at a nice seafood/sushi restaurant.

We make it back into town the day before our actual first anniversary, September 4.

On our anniversary night , we will probably eat at the restaurant where we got engaged (Red Light), here in Chicago where we live.

I think well just go up to our lake house with our brand new baby and Gabe and Im going to order a cake from black forrest to resemble our wedding cake.

That would be perfect!

We flew into San Diego, drove to LA, then drove to Vegas.

we were supposed to go to Paris as part of our HM but had to change plans just before the wedding due to the riots there, so we are going to go to Paris for our anniversary

DH proposed to me in Dutch Country PA, so being that we love it so much, we're going back. We're planning to relax and enjoy our anniversary in a B&B.

We already booked the place we went to on our HM - Equinox Resort & Spa in Manchester Village, VT.
They have a great HM/Anniversary package that we hope to take advantage of every year.

We rested sooo much last time that this year we plan on scoping out more of the area.

We're also doing dinner at WM - where we were married.

DH is working on our anniversary plans. He won't tell me where he wants to go. All I know is that it's still warm in November, but there is no beach, but we could lay by the pool. I thought AZ, but he said no. We'll see - I am excited to be surprised!

Absolutely nothing- our new home tapped us out. I was so tired from the moving and the pregnancy that we didn't even make it out to dinner at our favorite restaurant.

We really want to go to Greece - but we aren' t sure yet. I'm sure we will end up going somewhere.

I'm hoping to book a 3 or 4 night cruise. I found one that looks like it will work but we'll probably book when summer is over!

DH booked our trip! Yeah - we are going to Aruba! Can't wait - less than 3 months away!
