Should the ring bearer pillow match the color of your wedding gown?

If so, I do not see many champagne colored ring bearer pillows lately.. Would it even matter if I bought a white one?

I had a purple ring bearer pillow. I thought it was nice to have something that matched the colors of the BP.

I don't think so, it can be any color you want.
I have seen them in blue with seashells to match a beach theme, and a redish orange to go with a fall theme.
It can be anything you want it to be.
