Queens/ LI ladies who are getting or already got married in Westchester/Rockland county

Did you have to get your license in Westchester/Rockland or were you able to get it out here and get married over there?

It says you can get your license from any town in New York State so we're planning on doing the opposite, getting our license in Rockland and getting married in Suffolk.

I am doing the opposite, getting married in Queens but getting my license in Westchester.
