Best Glue for DIY Unity Candles?

What is the best glue to use for DIY unity candles if I were to glue rhinestones of vellum to it? I'm worried about it being flammable if it burns down far.

I used a hot glue gun.

I used a glue gun too. I also used the sticky rhinestone letters. I have it in my review if you want to look.
