Got my proofs in late March and gave them the pictures for my album June!

But, I wanted to finish my TYs first.

Anyway, it took me forever to do it, I had to have my mom help me and I needed them to 'tell a story'. I am so anal!

Stinks though b/c I willbe married almost a year when I get the darn thing back!

The way my photog does it is you see them in their studio and choose your pictures that day. Took three hours.

Got proofs in August, submitted pics for album in October....basically for us it was based on when we could get back to NY with DH's gig schedule...would have done it sooner if possible.

I want to start getting them done this week.. hopefully have them all picked out by the end of august, I would like our albums by the holidays!

I have a friend who got married 3 years ago and still hasn't done her album!!

I picked up my proofs yesterday so I'm going thru that process right now! DH and I are going crazy going thru 1200+ pics...they're starting to all look the same!!! I have a feeling it's going to take us a while.

I actually was on the ball doing my album. I'm just so excited to get the final product. I met with Sue from A.D.A Studios ( she's a doll) yesterday and I put my order in. I can't wait to go over the final pictures and then put all the albums in order.

I've even put all my table cameras and shots that everyone's given me in albums already....... I have a serious picture problem.

I am married 5 months and we havent started. Here is my suggestion. Make an appointment with the studio to do the layouts and that will force you to get it done. Our appointment is on August 8th and so far my mom chose hers, DH's parents chose theirs and we have to choose ours. I think at first you will look at them a million times then put them down and then a few weeks later, you may see a picture that you didnt really stand out but that you really like. I venture to say that most couples dont do their albums within the first few months.

It took us about 3 months to us and our parents to pick out the albums. I got my proofs in two weeks and then it took me 2 weeks to pick out our thank you.

I think I took about a week. The longer I held onto them, the more changes I made and the harder it was to make up my mind.

In the end, I ended up expanding my album to include a lot more pictures.

We had 1000 proofs, but the photographer picked the top 200 and put them on a DVD as a beautiful mini album. We broke that down to 125. From the moment i had my proofs till my appointment was 3 weeks.

I 'narrowed' mine down and then had an appointment with the woman who designed the album at the photographer. I was there for HOURS. She probably wanted to kill me. But she was so helpful. I can't wait to see it.
