Re: NWR: Weight Loss..help

Try cutting out processed foods and any white flower. Load up on salads, veggies, lean meat or tofu and whole grains. Maybe you are over excersising and not eating enough or maybe you really do look great and have unrealistic expectations? Just a thought as I don't know you..But if you really are running that much I can't imagine you don't look fit and healthy. Good luck

Re: NWR: Weight Loss..help

I feel your pain about the drinking!

That will probabaly do it to be honest! I cut out the bottle of wine I was drinking with FH every other night and dropped 3 lbs in 2 weeks..It's so easy to forget how many calories are in that stuff especially after the first glass or so

Re: NWR: Weight Loss..help

Why not try a different workout? Instead of cardio, try something that tones your muscles? I did Pilates yesterday and it kicked my butt! It was awesome though! I was getting into a lull with my exercise plan and getting a bit bored, and this was great.

Re: NWR: Weight Loss..help

maybe try doing some weight training, the more muscle mass you have the more calories you burn during the day...even when you aren't working out. i use the firm and it's a mix of cardio and weight training. that's what they say it's supposed to do, and it's helped me!!

good luck!!!

Re: NWR: Weight Loss..help

You may not be eating enough, believe it or not. if you are exercising a lot, which it sounds like you are, you may not be giving your body enough energy. Make sure you are eating frequently throughout the day to give your metabolism a boost.... 6 small meals is best. but of course it has to be fruit, veggies, etc. etc. and don't forget breakfast. breakfast will jump start your body for the day...

now, if i would only follow my own advice

Re: NWR: Weight Loss..help

i asked my trainer the same questions when I wanted to lose a few pounds before a friends wedding. she said that i should cut out all salt because it would make me retain water. i couldn't do it (i salt everything) but in theory it sounds like it should work.

Re: NWR: Weight Loss..help

Incorporate weight training - you are doing too much cardio - you will be shocked - I lost so much weight just by incorprating weight training, and I am cardio queen!!!

Re: NWR: Weight Loss..help

I tried limiting carbs (my weight is all in the middle as well) and that really helps. I have fallen off the exercise band wagon, but when I was doing both, that really helped.
Maybe you can see a trainer or nutritionist just for a visit or two to get an idea of what direction you should go in.

Re: NWR: Weight Loss..help

Honestly.. i know a lot of people can't do home workouts but this one is worth it. Billy Blake's Boot Camp DVD's with the bill bands is a great great workout. And you see results.I usually go to the gym and do classes but when they offering a class that I dont like ( yoga, pilates) I preffer to stay home and do this work out.
Also, when I have an event and need to do some quick toning I do this workout for a week and see a difference.

It also comes with a quickfix diet that i have never done since me and dieting dont get along but my stepmom did it and she lost weight.

I hope this helped... Oh and if you wereinteresting in getting it Model's has it for 39.99.
