Re: Are you having a bridal party dance?
We had one, it was Breathe by Faith Hill. But our DJ invited all our guests up immediately instead of halfway through like I very explained to him in writing!

I did not know that their was such a thing - it sounds nice! But FH and I are planning on having the BP join in our first dance halfway through the song.

Re: Are you having a bridal party dance?
FH and I prefer to dance our song alone...so no we won't be having the bridal party dance, or have guests invited.

This is what we did too. It worked out well.

Re: Are you having a bridal party dance?
No, personally, I think it's awkward to make people who don't know each other and are already married or have a significant other dance with a complete stranger.

Re: Are you having a bridal party dance?
We decided not to, as I have some BM's who don't know the GM they'd have to dance with and they'd be uncomfortable...

Re: Are you having a bridal party dance?
We decided not to do this. I've been a BM a few times and had to do this with GM I barely knew. I felt a little uncomfortable.

I agree, but you can tell them ahead of time to just dance with their significant other instead. I've seen it, and DJs have said 'Members of the bridal party and their guests please join...' that's not too bad.
Personally, FH & I are dancing alone & then just calling everyone to come up & join us.

Re: Are you having a bridal party dance?
We didn't. To me there's nothing worse than a BM dancing with a GM and they both look like 10 year olds that were made to dance with their great aunt. JMO

Re: Are you having a bridal party dance?
We're not. First the GMs and BMs don't know each other well so I don't want them to feel awkward having to dance/make conversation with someone they basically just met. Also, our BP is uneven so it wouldn't work.

this is what we did, but with 'wonderful tonight' by eric clapton. although, they did split up the BP invite and guests...but it was no big deal because they didn't wait that long to do it. (like well before half way)

Re: Are you having a bridal party dance?
My mother is adament about having a BP dance. I don't really want one (BP doesn't know one another and not everyone is bringing a guest - so it would be awkward).I think I may have one but use the Electric Slide, the Cha-Cha slide or some other group dance. I can have the BP do it for the first minute or two and then invite the rest of the guest up to join in.
Or I'm cutting it out all together.
