Newly married and new to doing BOY laundry!
So I come to my Mom's house to do laundry every week and every week I am amazed at the collection of 'swiss cheese tshirts'! Today is the winner though, and when I find my mom's camera, I will post a pic... This tshirt is from DH's senior year in lacrosse in HS (97) and is by far the worst of all his collection. I don't know if it can even be qualified to call itself a tshirt anymore. It's cut in half and looks like moth's went to town on it!So my question is this.. anyone else out there that is newly married and new to doing DH's laundry find interesting things like this? Or am I alone in this matter?

Right there with you buddy! I laugh everytime I do Jay's laundry! I love the 'hole in the crouch' on the underwear or the undershirts with paint stains!!! I have started to throw them out, one by one! It does give me a chuckle though!

I guess it isn't so bad, because all his boxers are in one piece! It should be this way, since I've been supplying him with boxers for the last 10 years! Every Christmas the boy gets 24 new pairs! Who can think of a better Christmas present from the woman who loves you?!

Re: Newly married and new to doing BOY laundry!
I lived with my DH before we even started dating (loooong story...we were friends for a long time before it ever got 'romantic'), so I was fortunate enough to see him lounging around the house in those prize items before we were even dating.I swear, it's like they need to hold on to the t-shirts to hold onto that time in their life or something. My DH nearly cried when he realized that he left a t-shirt from our freshman year of college (1998!) on our patio at the hotel we stayed in for our HM...Such a weirdo.
Have you discovered any swiss cheese boxers yet? I found a pair once that had some serious 'air conditioning'. The tear was actually bigger that the hole that's supposed to be there! I let him keep the t-shirts, but the boxers go DIRECTLY into the trash.

we lived together for 5 years before getting married - so I went down that raod a long time back. That said, I'm still hiding the denim jacket with Ren and Stimpy artfully painted on the back!

Re: Newly married and new to doing BOY laundry!
I've lived with DH for 4 years before we were married, and we always did laundry together. We still do. But let me tell you BAD:Okay, I don't know what kind of caustic fluid spews out of my DH's armpits when he sweats, but it turns his t-shirts BLACK!
