SWR - Weight watchers...

Can you join it regardless of your weight? Meaning do they not let you if you are under a certain weight??

Re: SWR - Weight watchers...

Hi, you have to be a weight where you are going to lose some pounds. I know it is a healthy program and it should be open to everyone.

Re: SWR - Weight watchers...

I don't think they'll let you join if, according to them, you have no weight to lose. Like if a healthy weight for your body is 110-140 lbs. and you weigh 110lbs. I don't think they'll let you join so you can lose 10 lbs. but if you weigh 120, then you can join.

Re: SWR - Weight watchers...

They don't care how much a person needs to lose to join weight watchers. You can join wanting to lose 5lbs or 200lbs. However I don't know if they will allow someone being at a healthy weight to join the program then get to an unhealthy weight (does that make sense??? )

Re: SWR - Weight watchers...

Anyone can join! It's not just about weight loss, it's about a healthy eating lifestyle.

If you are at your 'ideal' body weight, you won't lose any weight by following their program though.

This is what I thought I was told when I joined. You have to have weight to lose according to their guidelines. HTH.
