PICS from my friend's wedding on 8/4/06! Lots of red and reviews of Lillette's and Mia from BL!!!

It was my first time being a bridesmaid and I loved the whole experience. We woke up the morning of the wedding and heard really hard rain, thunder and lightning... but the day turned out to be beautiful and sunny!!!! Her wedding was at the Ethan Allen Inn in CT... so she didn't use that many vendors from LI but she did get her dress at Lillette's and used Mia from Br!dal L0unge for makeup (she loved my trial with Mia and immediately booked her based on that). The bride got us all Tiffany necklaces, GREAT gift!!!

Lillette's: My friend wanted me to say that Pat was great and all the women upstairs made her dress-buying experience great, but the she had a hard time with the alterations people. They just didn't seem to care much and she felt very rushed every time she put her dress on. I went with her to her final fitting and we told the seamstresses we were there. We waited 10 minutes and nobody acknowledged us. One of the women from upstairs came down and asked us why we were still sitting there and she went in and told the seamstresses we were there. Another 10 minutes went by... I finally went in there and told them that we had an appointment for 20 mins ago and we've been waiting. They made it like they had no idea we were sitting there and finally helped us. That was a little annoying. She said if she could do it all over she would get her dress there, but find a different place for alterations.

Mia: She is just the sweetest person and so amazingly talented! She came all the way up to Carmel, NY (1 1/2 hrs from LI) and did airbrush makeup on me, another BM, the bride, her 2 sisters, MOB and MOG. Everyone LOVED their makeup... there is not one single complaint about Mia. Nobody could believe how great we all looked... even the girls working at the hair place were amazed by the airbrush!

Do you have any pictures of the back of your hair? It is really pretty! ( I have to chose a style for a wedding in Oct.)

Thanks! The pics I have up there are the only ones that really show my hair, sorry I don't have better ones.

Thanks, they are from David's Bridal and the color is apple. They were really nice!
