CLM brides- quick question...

I was on my friend's boat tonite and i was thinking how hard it is to actually get on the boat and then i thought about how the CLM brides take that yacht....

is it hard to get on the yacht with your dress on???

i felt like it was hard to move in my dress at times on my wedding day, i couldnt possibly imagine trying to get on a boat in it. what did all of you do???

To be honest getting on was the easy part, you just walk onto the back of the boat, it was fairly even w/ the dock, getting off was a little tricky b/c at CLM they have a wooden ladder and its up about 2 feet from the boat, so you are stepping onto the ladder & then going up to the dock. It's scary b/c you can't see your feet, just the poof of the dress, but my maitre' d & the photographer & my hubby were right there. It wasn't bad.

It was also the one of the highlights & things I remember most from my wedding day (sitting out there & sipping champagne & it was so quiet & peaceful).

I always wondered the same thing about getting off the boat.

It was not a problem at all. They are there to help guide you on the boat and you just walk right on.

I had no prob. I held my dress and concentrated where to go! Plus You get helped out of the boat. I had no worries and I was fine

I was nervous about that being that the space looks so tiny but I dont really recal the actual act of stepping off the boat, just right after so I guess there were no problems!

It wasnt too bad, just make sure you hold your dress up on the docks because mine got caught on a nail.
