A Question for Brides who saw FH before the ceremony...

Did it take away any of your anxiety? In other words, were you calmer walking down the aisle? Do you wish you had done things differently and waited?
We're thinking of doing this for a variety of reasons so I'm just curious.

I agree it was great. We got the pictures out of the way and it allowed and the rest of the bridal party to really enjoy the cocktail hour and reception. No way I would do it differently.

Don't think that you are going to miss out on the special moment of your first meeting. The photographer and videographer make sure that you have a special first meeting caught on film.

It was the BEST decision we made!! When we first saw eachother it was so incredibly emotional. Our photographer had DH turn around when I got close to him and I will never forget his reaction. We hugged and cried and kissed for what felt like hours... we had the whole bridal party crying too. It was the perfect start to our day and we wouldn't ever change that.

We were able to take 3 hours of pics at 2 different locations before the ceremony and then we got to enjoy our CHour! It didn't take anything away from the walk down the aisle. That is very emotional in its own way!

I tell EVERYONE I talk to do see FH before the ceremony!! It was the best, best, best thing we decided to do. It was also really nice to take pictures with our BP and spend the special moment of seeing DH for the first time with the most special people to us.

And I was trying not to laugh b/c SIL was literally WAILING right behind me. Hehehe.

Plus we also got to go to our cocktail hour, which was really fun too.

Absolutely made us relax. We were able to spend time with each other. If we had no, walking down the aisle we would have seen each other for 2 seconds then gotten down to business. Then your rushed into pictures, then into the reception. Before you know it, time is up!!!

We weren't able to finish all our pictures beforehand, so we were taken away from the CH, and that stunk to me because we had so much going on during it that I wanted to be a part of. The calypso band, the cigar roller. I would absolutely recomend it.

I'm with the other Brides on this one....

It was the BEST moment of the day!
So emotional...I was crying and laughing all within seond of each other. My BMs all said I was so much calmer after this moment. I was suprised how nervous I was when it was time for the ceremony considering I had already seen him. Ii didn't take away from it at all...I wouldn't change a thing!
