We should start an 05 weekly thread

I know its hard for us to get on here daily, but we can at least drop by once a week, right? Kinda like reviving the GMB thread. What do you say?

I check here every day but I know its hard for some to get on here ....I think a weekly thread would be great.

I have to admit I was a good bride, but a bad newlywed. I just finalized my wedding album and finally went to go change my name at social security. I still have to change my DMV license, passport, and banking. Whew!!

We are still working on our album... we are really taking out sweet time with this!!

I am still looking for a job. I went on an interview last week at Kiddie Academy to be a director and it seems like the perfect job. They pay is slightly more than I was making. I could wear jeans (which makes me very happy!), I wouldn't be IN the classroom but still working with kids... and eventually when I have my own I could have them with me in the same building. It's been a week and I haven't heard anything so I am getting discouraged. They did make it sound like they wanted everyone they interviewed to come back and meet the current director... so I figured I'd get a call either way but I am not sure anymore. Keep your fingers crossed!!! I have an interview somewhere else on Friday.

Other than that I am bored out of my mind! I am not a fan of sitting home all summer doing nothing but none of my summer job leads worked out either...

Hi everyone!
We finally picked up our albums today! After over a year of marriage. They came out great and were totally worth the wait. Now all that is left is to do my scrapbook.

My pregnancy is going well. I feel the best I have yet. On August 5th we found out that we are having a baby girl!
We are very excited. DH and I have been trying to clean out the office that will be her room. The furniture is coming faster than we expected.

ETA: Good luck Jennie on finding a job. Hopefully you will have one by Dec. but if not I may have an opportunity for you!

This is a good idea. I finally made the jump to LIF (I'm SuzyQ there.) I'm popping on here less and less.

We got our wedding video a few weeks ago (because I was a bad newlywed and didn't give him the baby and honeymoon pics until June)
and we love the video. I am so happy with our choice. It was so great to relive the wedding all over again.

The pregnancy continues to be awesome. I didn't expect to love being pregnant so much. I have been so lucky in that I've felt amazing the entire time. We can't wait to meet the baby in November. We think it's a boy, but are looking forward to finding out when he/she is born.

We're are pretty much settled in to our place in Chicago. We still miss our family & friends on LI, but love it here. It was a good move for us.

Great idea to have weekly threads. Lots of wonderful updates going on! Sounds like we are all doing well. I am awesome. Just booked my anniversary trip to Vermont thanks to Lori...thanks Lori! I am really look forward to seeing Vermont and the spa!! I haven't done my album yet either or my review. Just can't force myself to finish it. I have bits and pieces written. A little less then 2 months to my 1 year anniversary. Time flies when you are having fun!

we'll be married 1 yr in a month. i agree with kim...time just flew by. we're going back to the poconos for our anniversary. we can't wait. we can't wait to eat our cake. we should do an 05 gtg

Great idea!

Well we had our baby on our anniversary 7-28. Jack Patrick is doing great! He is already over 10 lbs. Anthony is doing really good with him as a matter of fact Jack was cranky just now so Anthony took him out in the yard (because most babies seem to love the fresh air etc)

Gabes doing o.k. Having some great days and some not so great. He just turned 5 and was given countless presents by everyone. He starts kindergarten in a few weeks!

Anthony & I signed the adoption papers for Gabe and have to go for fingerprinting next week. Im not sure how long it will take after that. I just hope its done before Gabe starts school because of the issue with his last name. Schools telling me they have to go by the name on Gabes birth certificate but I told them Gabe doesnt even know Anthonys not his real dad. Hes never even heard his real last name. That would just be too much for a little boy, especially right now, so I have an appointment with the principal next week.

Im o.k. Having a hard time imagining going back to work in 2 - 3 weeks! I weighed myself for the first time since having Jack and I only lost about 30 lbs. I was so sure I had lost more. I have to weigh myself on a better scale - so we'll see. Im going to go tanning for the first time in about a year tomorrow. I cant wait to start looking normal again!!
