NWR..Have you ever heard that its good luck to give a someone...
A broom, salt and bread? My mother is asking me this because me g-ma is bringing this to me on Saturday when she sees the apartment for the first time.. because apparently its good luck...not sure if its an Italian thing or old wives tale...Grandma subscribes to both

I am at mom's house and she calls down to my..'Grandma wants to know if you have a broom, how about salt and what about bread' and finally I am just like WHY? I should have known

Yes it's a very big superstition! My mom would not let me step foot into my house until I had salt, a broom and bread in my hands!
