Birthday/Wedding

FH and I have the same birthday and are getting married on our birthday's. We have decided not to get each other wedding gifts because we are paying for the wedding and just bought a house so we have other financial things going on.

I want to surprise FH at our wedding for his bday (even though it's mine too) with something, but have no idea what....any suggestions?

how about a birthday grooms cake? a poem and song dedication?
a puppy the morning he is getting ready?- that may be a little bit extreme but how cute would it be?
otherwise, i am stumped

B-day grooms cake is PERFECT!!!! and of course sing happy b-day too! Make the cake something to suit him- if his favorite sport is baseball, have the cake be a baseball...etc...

a cake.

My dad's bday is our wedding day, i'm going to have the father/daughter dance and when its done i'm going to have the DJ make a special announcement and ask everyone to join in singing happy birthday and have a cake brought out.

I like the cake idea, if it was not your birthday also. He may feel funny having everyone sing HB to him and its also your birthday. I got FH a cigar roller as a surprise. JMO

We're having a VH and a wedding cake and FH is already saying that he doesn't like wedding cakes that we shouldn't get one...meanwhile it's included in the price. I don't want to get a grooms cake because I know he's not a fan of cakes as it.
