Re: Budget for flowers
Depending on what you need, and what flowers you want...anywhere from $1500 to 5k...
I think that is what a florist said to me that they normally cost brides and grooms.

Re: Budget for flowers
It is endless how much you can spend on flowers. It 100% depends on what kind and how many you want.
I would say a good range is $1,500 - $4,000

Re: Budget for flowers
my advice, work backwards!
Is there a limit to how much you will spend? My limit was $1300 and i will get what i want, just smaller and more realistic. I will have 17 low cps, and i have 6 bms and 8 gms etc....
If you go into a florist with no sort of budget boundaries, then b4 you know it, the florist will ask you what flowers you dream of having for your wedding and then wa la! Your total cost is through the roof.
go to flower michele! they work within your budget!!

I'm sure that you can get beautiful flowers for that price. That's about what I'm paying and I'm getting 16 low cps, my bq, 5 bm bq, bouts, petals and coursages. Plus I'm using mostly blue hydrangea which can be expensive.

Re: Budget for flowers
I would say the "average" on the boards from what I read.........realistic is 1500-2500.
But you can make it as simple and inexpensive...and as extravagant and expensive as you'd like.

Re: Budget for flowers
My budget was about 6-7 grand b/c I'm a flower fanatic and I wanted tons and everywhere-- very full and a lot of pricier flowers... but I actually came in at around $4900 so I was delighted... so much so that I might add, when the wedding comes closer, some stuff! FH would kill me if he knew, he was celebrating haha I'll only add a few things though, I promise

I had a budget of 2k, and hit it on the nose. You have to make sure you tell your florist what you want so they can make it happen.

absolutely!! when you meet with john, he will ask you specifics like how many bms, gms, how many people you are having at the wedding..e tc then he will ask your color schemes, what your dress looks like and he will ask you what flowers you like.. then he will ask you your budget and then he will nip and tuck so that you can stay within your budget!
he is so wonderful!

I would say around 2k-6k depending on the type of flowers you request, the season it is, and how extravagant you go.
