Re: Dress Shopping
Awww! I miss dress shopping! You are going to have so much fun! Good luck!!As far as advice, the only tip i can give you is to wear a strapless bra and a bikini underwear!
b/c the salesperson WILL be in the room when you change
i was in a thong! and it was a little uncomfortable each time i had to get in and out of a dress! oyvey!
otherwise, you will have lots of fun! bring a camera too, you never know, you may find the one!

Re: Dress Shopping
I went to Klienfeld's too a few months ago. Its a beautiful place. The only advice I have is try to bring some ideas of the type of gown you want with you. They have so many gowns and will continually bring them into the dresing room. It saves time and sanity if you have an idea of what you want(and if you know what designers you like, its even better). Have fun!

Re: Dress Shopping
I didn't go to Klienfelds... Went to Pricilla of Boston. They had me change into shoes and a corset bra... I wore boyshort undies bc I knew the girl would be in there with me! So if youre uncomfortable being in undies around someone, definatly wear boyshorts!!! Otherwise, they really help you with everything. Bring in some pix you like and HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!

Re: Dress Shopping
I never went to Kelinfeld's, but I know if you have a small idea on the kind of dress or designers, thats a good starting point. Also let them make some suggestions, I never wanted a strapless dress, but once I put it on...I was a goner!
And I couldn't agree more the underwear! I thankfully had on a pair of 'granny panties'
only b/c I knew that the women would be in there with me and they had their hands in the dresses to help get things to lay right or show it might be bustled.

Re: Dress Shopping
i havent gone to kleinfields but the first two places i went to didnt help me in the dressing roomand when i went to ( i guess a high end salon) they were in the room- and there i was in my little black mesh thong! ahhh the horror!
i am not that shy but, being in a thong with an older woman made me a little uncomfortable!
and i would def. go in with a few pics of dresses you like and styles/designers b/c i hear that they bring out dresses to you, you cant look around....
