day-of coordination referals, please

hello ladies,

i will be getting married a little out of the area come october. i thought i had a day-of wedding coordinator. i found her on craigslist.org. she is new in the business and was going to work for free, for the sake of building up her portfolio. i was planning to give her a decent tip if all went well.

... well, the young lady is no-where to be found. the closer the day is the more i realize that i will need day day-of coordination. i was thinking of asking a friend to do it, but then realized that i want her to be a guest, not an 'employee' on my wedding day.

my question/request from you is... can anyone recommend a coordinator for my wedding day. this would have to be someone who can travel a little bit. i'm getting married in princeton, nj.

I interviewed several DOCs before hiring Francesca from Dazzling Affairs. I absolutely LOVE her. I'm 52 days away from my wedding, and she has come through for me and been there for me in so many ways in the last 9 months, that I can't sing her praises enough!!

I am using Laura from LA productions, she is in Port Jeff but I know she has traveled before for weddings. She is fabulous!!!!!

simone summers from coordinated to perfection. i know she does weddings in LI, PA and i would assume NJ.

she was one of the best people i could have had at my wedding!
