With the new feature, I have a feeling....

... that there are going to be soooo many bumped threads from years ago - because everything comes up on the bottom - I know I almost responded to a few until I saw they were from 2004!
I am already seeing some bumped threads from the ice ages on here - I'm wondering if its such a good thing after all?

Yes, it may eliminate searches, but there may be things responded to that are just over and done with, you know?

Honestly.. I don't see a problem with having new conversations on interesting old topics! Maybe not helpful to the original poster... but you never know who else might be assisted!

I think it could be REALLY bad...There were posts from 2 years ago that I put up that I feel I dont want brought back up- especially family drama posts.

I'm such a different woman now that I was when I first joined- I have to say this was not the best idea for a feature from this site.

yeah i noticed that. it's a little weird/annoying....you read a question and get all ready to reply with some heartfelt advice and realize this girl has been married for 2 years!

this actually happened to me last night...i had asked in june for adviceon a school district and it was suddenly up and getting answers again last night. it actually got more answers last night than the original time of posting!

I agree, it can get a little messy
It is happening on the 07' board. People are responding to posts from 5 months ago and not realizing it.

I was just thinking the same thing when I saw how long ago some were from!
