Question for bridal jewelry - Need help!!

Okay, I think I screwed up big time!!!

Here's the story.... I went to an accessory store yesterday to look for bridal jewelry for me and my girls. I wanted sterling silver for all of us. I had an idea of what I thought would go with my dress (silver vine necklace). I really thought it woudl go... Anyway, I purchase it upon a condition that if it doesn't work out I can return it. Now, in the meantime, b/c I was so excited, I start looking for jewelry for my bm's & matron of honor. Great... Me and one of my bm's pick out a simple sterling silver pendant and simple earrings and a bracelet to go with it. NOt too much bling. I pick out a different set for my moh (that has a little more bling than theirs). Okay, so a lot of this is special order. I pay with my cc in full. It all came out to about $800. Now, I go and try the jewelry on with my dress and it doesn't go. The bridal salon says that I should try to go with a drop pendant with yellow gold b/c my tiara which is yellow gold goes with the dress BUT the dress has silver embroidery on it. I will attach a pic of my dress.

Now, I am getting frustrated b/c I can't seem to find a thing that I like to go with this dress b/c I am a white gold girl. My rings (e ring and wedding band will be platinum).

Do you think if my girls are in silver and I am in yellow gold jewelry this will go for pics or will it look ridiculous? I am so worried, I couldn't sleep much. I don't want everything to look bad together. I am concerned b/c the place i purchased all this has a policy of no refunds or exchanges on special item orders. i am going to try to explain the situation to the man b/c i did get it at like 3:00 yesterday afternoon.... I am hoping the store is open today.

Can you please give me your opinions on this?? I cannot change my tiara b/c i must admit that hte yellow gold with clear rhinestones goes amazing with the dress.... Oh, how I really do hate yellow gold...

btw, my dress is ivory and with gold panels.

Any help is appreicated... Below is my dress...

Re: Question for bridal jewelry - Need help!!

That's tough - my dress is ivory and has a gold cast to it, and my girls dresses are chocolate brown & gold. They're wearing gold. I'm wearing leopard print shoes that have gold in them. My headpiece has silver in it (so, I'm like the opposite of you) I also have a 'v' neckline but it's off the shoulder. After trying on a LOT of things and different combinations of jewelry, I went with really big showy silverish chandelier earrings and no necklace. I felt I needed to match the headpiece, because that is like jewelry and I thought all my jewelry should match. Although I think something around my neck would have been nice, I almost think the bare neck shows off my unique dress and the earrings draw attention to my face. So in my case, that’s just what looked the best. My wedding is in a few weeks, so you can check out my pictures and see if you like or DON'T like the way it looks (Me in silver, them in gold), and then you'll have a year to find the perfect thing!!

ETA: Also, as I said my girls are now in gold and I'll be in silver and I said to the jewelry woman, 'well, now I don't match them' she said 'You're the bride, you should stand out and be different. You don't have to match them' I figure - she knew best since she deals with it all the time, and it doesn't matter to her what color I buy, she was still making the sale so I trusted her HTH!!

I don't think it is going to be a problem, you are the bride and you are supossed to stand out. My girls wore silver vine necklaces and earings. I was completely different. I wore my mothers heart pendant which is antique so it looked gray and my pictures are fine take a look at my albums and see if you can tell.
