NWR: decorating advice

ok well since FH and i have decided not to buy anything right away we are getting sick of our apt and the way we decorated when we first moved in.......we dont want to put anything major into the place since we already put in carpet.......which i now hate! so my question is what color paint and curtains do you think could go nicely with a light gray rug and charcoal gray couches( the walls are dark now) TIA!

yeah i was thinking like a cranberry. on the walls....what about curtains?

if you did cranberry paint then you coud possibly do a latte or taupe curtain- we actually have mocha/latte walls and cranberry curntains and it makes a nice contrast.
