Mom vent!!!!

definetly starting to get a bit stressed!!!! I told my mom about the wine favors I wanted to do, she went with me the other day to price a liquor store, of course like my mother, she goes and finds twenty other ideas and tells me that I should do them, like my idea isn't good enough!!!! It is so stressful. She did the same thing when i took her to show her the necklace I wanted to get to go with my dress. She just made a face and said that's nice!! UGHHH. It is so fustrating, she did the same thing picking out my wedding dress that I changed my mind after I bought the one that she liked, I don't know why I keep valuing her opinion, they are completely different than mine. She is very modern contemporary, I am not. I am more classic. I just keep giving her more chances and she just keeps fustrating the hell out of me.
Also, her friend had offered to do my caligraphy for my invitations, originally I planned to just put them through the printer. I really didn't want it in the first place, but she kept insisting so I said okay! Now it has become a thing as well I am not getting her a present for the wedding because I am doing her envelopes. Hello!! I didn't want them done in the first place!!!
I feel bad complaining about my mother because I see all these other posts about girls wishing their mother was with them and I think to my self that I should shut up and be grateful that my mom will be there to share in my day. She just gets on my nerves sooooo bad.
Sorry for the long vent but I just got off the phone with her. She drives me crazy.

It's your wedding just do what u want.....Say I love u mom but these are things I want.........

Sometimes it can get nutty when there is soo many people invovled and soo much input, but choose things U and your FH want......

I understand where you are coming from. I too am very grateful that my mom comes along and is involved, but sometimes I just want to as she tells me that something is 'nice' in that tone that makes me realize that she DOES NOT really care for it. So from one kinda frazzled girl to another...

I'm sorry you are having trouble with your mom. I can totally relate. I love my mom to death but she gets on my nerves...b/c we are completely opposite. So, I have learned not to ask her for her opinion anymore b/c I know it isn't going to agree with mine. I try to limit the things that I take her to, to the things i know she is interested in and things that I really an indifferent about.

I know we shold be greatful that our moms are going to be here with us on our day...but that's the thing about mom...the annoy the crap out of you...but you miss them when they are not around.
